Golf
There are several golf courses within an hour's drive of Les Hirondelles.
Granville offers two links courses; the 9-hole course alongside the sea, and an 18-hole Championship course www.golfdegranville.com
The 9-hole course at Vire is challenging, not least because of its hilly location! It does however have beautiful views over the Lac du Dathy and surrounding countryside. The course is being expanded to 18 holes in the near future.
Third hole - Golf de Dathy 
Acclaimed by the press as one of the most beautiful natural golf courses in France, Golf de Clecy is situated 30km south of Caen. www.golf-de-clecy.com
Golf des Ormes is just over the border in Brittany but again offers a Championship course, set in parkland in the grounds of a Chateau. www.golfdesormes.com
Horse Riding
Riding is available at Brecey, just 5 minutes away and also at St Jean le Thomas, where you can ride along the beach.
Apart from the River See which runs just metres away from our property, and which has a reputation for good trout and salmon fishing,we now have access to a private lake for Carp fishing, which is just a 10 minute drive away.Please ask us for details.
