The cottages are priced in pounds for ease of comparison and are per cottage per week. We will convert this to euros at the current exchange rate when we ask for payment.

Should you have to cancel your holiday, the deposit is only refundable if we are able to re-book the Gite. Payment in full becomes due 2 weeks before your holiday. We recommend you take out Travel Insurance to cover this or the possible curtailment of your holiday due to illness.

We are closed between the end of November and Easter but can probably open for a couple of nights for previous visitors - please phone us with your dates

A local tourism tax (Taxe de Sejour) is payable on all stays from 1 May 2012.  It is a small sum - 0.22€ per person, per night, averaging around 3/4€  for a week's stay for 2 people.  Please pay this to us in cash at the end of your stay - we will issue a receipt.


The purpose is to help promote Normandy through the Tourist Board.




Discounts are  available for two or more Gites booked together. 

Loyalty discount of 10% for returning guests (on Summer rates only)

Prices include all bed linen, towels, gas and electricity, and also logs during Autumn and Winter.  We reserve the right to charge for subsequent extra baskets of logs.

Evening meals will be available once or twice a week, by arrangement, usually on Tuesday and Friday evenings.  Prices around 25.00€ per person.*

On your arrival, we can arrange to have a fresh Salad Platter waiting for you.  Comprising Ham, Salad Leaves, Tomato, free-range hard-boiled Egg, Potato Salad and Coleslaw, French bread.  Price 8.50€ per person - please order 24 hours before arrival.


You will find a Welcome Tray in your Gite to enable you to make a hot drink on arrival. Comprising Tea, Coffee, Sugar and fresh Milk.


If you would like some additional basic groceries too, such as bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee, etc, then just ask us to shop for you.

There are charges payable locally for:    DVD hire – 2 euros per night

Changeover day is usually Saturday, but we can be flexible, subject to availability, so do please ask if another day suits you better.


If you are not sure what to bring and what will already be in the Gite, please ask us for an Inventory.

An iron and  ironing board are available in the Chalet and a Hairdryer can be loaned on request.
